High temperature bending strength testing machine measures the bending strength (or bending strength or modulus of rupture) of inorganic non-metallic materials such as refractory materials, ceramics, and concrete under high temperature test environment. It has been widely used as a method to simulate the performance of materials at working temperature. ISO, GB, EN, ASTM, HB, etc. have established their own standard specifications for this test. At the same time, it has become an important parameter in the research and development and quality control of refractory/ceramic materials together with properties such as load softening temperature, creep rate, permanent linear change, and thermal shock resistance.

The standard defines bending strength as: the maximum pressure that a rectangular test material of a certain size can withstand when bent on a three-point bending device. Its unit is N/mm² or MPa.

Constant stress, constant displacement and other rate control can be performed. The bending strength of materials under nitrogen, argon and air can be tested.

It is made in strict accordance with the requirements of international standards ISO5013, ISO5014 and national standard GB/T3002 "Refractory High Temperature Bending Strength Test Method". One batch can complete six consecutive tests of samples with a size of 40*40*160mm or 25*25*150mm.
